Well it has been another six months

That 25 minutes of footage has haunted us for 2 years. We still have not completed it. Maybe the Valentine to the fans will finally be, in 2019, the first official trailer of Starship Chimera.

Six Months More!

Hiauts happened shortly after the January post and has not yet let up, with that 25 minutes of footage still not produced due to producer and director not being available to do reshoots.

Film moved up to December.

Production Resumes Jan 2018

B roll production resumed after yet another hiatus of 6 months. This time it was not the copyright issue from 2016, but rather that Marx Cards as producer director was not available.

The planet balls from 2017 had to be touched up after a hot summer chipped some of the paint off of them. They're made from toy rubber balls painted with acrylics.

The donation of a realistic Deep Space Nine Runabout model from former TV actor  Brian Storey, in August 2017, was not assembled until yesterday and today.

The ship will be featured as the 'Shuttle that takes Riker back to the Titan A' in the script. So it would not be in the DS9 scene but at Earth.

Originally it was an unnamed shuttle, but they have named it the Jacques in honor of the former Storey house street name, and it looks fantastic. It had to be assembled and then painted, and to look weathered and over 20 years old.

The release of the film is moved up once again, to mid Summer 2018.

Twenty five minutes of acting footage remains, and all of the B roll planet effects and second part ship effects. Estimates of time for completion of those will rest on if they can complete also the dialog.
