Hiatus Ends Nov 10 with New Filming!

The production went over Scene 68 roughly, night shoot, with Kat and Cards on the studio 1 set on the table. The scene involved a James Kirk toy action figure from the movie era perched on a sloping brown cliff where he and what appears to be Morn from DS9 are perched. Not so sure what this scene is, but apparently both are about to fall off the building into some kind of chasm.

In an earlier teaser scene we got to see the same toy figure of Kirk in the 'alien simulation of the bridge', It could be this is the Kirk figure who has now gone out and gotten into trouble. The curious Morn figure appears to be someone else. We've seen them use figures to play other roles. He is likely the Eon character from the Q scene from the earlier scenes, 'about Q being jerky' in that Aladdin like scene from months ago.

Not sure of what their relationship is in the story or how it is part of the plot, but it looks interesting!

It has been ten years since someone shot a scene for the film! The special guest that recorded his lines when the first draft was completed did his lines almost 10 years ago, as of next December 7. He was not there for the current scene. He hasn't been on the set at all during the other footage, but he was mentioned during the shooting.

It looks like principle photography will wrap around Christmas 2016 and this will bow in February 2017 in time to be a Valentine to the fans! Yay!
